Job Description
Develop and execute procurement strategies in alignment with the company’s operational and production needs. Forecast and assess the procurement requirements for raw materials, components, and services. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating terms and ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery standards. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manage supplier performance, addressing any issues that arise. Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of goods and services. Review and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies. Monitor inventory levels to ensure timely replenishment and avoid stockouts or overstocking. Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams to track deliveries and ensure smooth inventory flow. Track procurement budgets and ensure adherence to cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality. Negotiate pricing and terms to optimize cost efficiency and drive savings.
